Richard is an Associate with Azimuth. Prior to joining the Firm, Richard worked as an Analyst with Tailwind Associates, a local venture builder offering financial advisory to early-stage companies. He also previously held internships with Genus Capital Management in Vancouver as a Fintech Analyst and Wells Fargo in Calgary within their commercial banking team.

Richard holds Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of Calgary where he graduated with distinction. During university, Richard was the Director of Finance for the Haskayne Consulting Club as well as a Fund Manager for the Energy stream on the UCeed Haskayne Student Fund (UHSF), a new $1.2M+ venture capital fund run by students.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys playing basketball, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and developing content for his personal blog.
