Scott is a Senior Vice President with the Firm. Scott’s responsibilities include evaluating potential investments, energy industry analysis and financial due diligence.

While in university and prior to joining Azimuth Capital Management, Scott worked with Nexen Energy as part of the resource development team where he gained technical energy experience. Previously, Scott worked with CIBC World Markets as part of the equity research team and with FirstEnergy Capital as part of the investment banking group.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from Queen’s University. While at the University of Alberta, Scott was involved with the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence, where he was responsible for managing the Industrials sector. Scott has passed CFA Exam Level II.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys skiing and hiking in the rocky mountains, travelling and following NHL hockey.
