Max is an Operating Partner of Azimuth Capital Management. Max's responsibilities include analyzing business plans related to the Low Carbon Fuels strategy vertical of the firm including Clean Hydrogen and Ammonia Production, Waste to Fuels, Carbon Capture and Sequestration.  Max leads the firm’s strategic initiative in establishing the strategy of business alliances with net zero focused strategic partners and governments, with a particular focus in Japan and APAC. 

 

Max has over 30 years of experience in the venture business and over 20 years of executive management expertise.  During this time, 10 years were spent working in Japan and 25 years working in the U.S. with a special focus on building strategic business alliances between Japanese/APAC companies and global companies.

 

Max holds a Master of Science from Hiroshima University. In his spare time, Max is a sailor, hiker, surfer, and angler. He is married with two adult children.
